In a small coastal town in England, Shenna de Oliveira, a young woman passionate about vintage fashion, decided to turn her hobby into a business.

She always hunted for unique pieces at fairs and thrift stores, but she realized that many women did not have the time or access to find such special clothing.

That’s how 'adelen' was born, an online store for women's clothing that blended British charm with a modern touch.

Shenna didn’t just want to sell dresses, skirts, and coats; she wanted to tell stories.

Each piece on the site came with a brief narrative about its inspiration — a dress inspired by the gardens of Cambridge, a coat that reminded one of the cold winds of Brighton, or a blouse that brought to mind the cozy cafés of London.
